Parsons is sixth in the NFL in sacks with 6.5 and ranks among the NFL leaders in pressures. Parsons has attracted double- and triple-teams all season, helping teammate Rashan Gary post 7.5 sacks. Parsons also has the highest overall grade of all edge rushers at Pro Football Focus, with an impressive mark of 93.4. Add it all up and it’s easy to see why Parsons is the frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year honors at both FanDuel and DraftKings. “Micah is a phenomenal player,” Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love said of Parsons. “I think everybody knew who we were getting when we made that trade for him. So I think the most surprising thing for me is just the way he is every day at practice. You know, the player you see out there on the field on Sunday is the same player in practice where, you know, we’re trying to have to tell him to ease up sometimes and stay away from me at times, because he’s always hunting, trying to get those sacks and trying to win every rep.” At DraftKings, Parsons is listed at +150 to win Defensive Player of the Year honors, while Cleveland’s Myles Garrett is second at +250. Detroit’s Aidan Hutchinson (+400), Denver’s Nik Bonitto (+750) and Houston’s Will Anderson Jr. (+1000) round out the top five. Micah Parsons knows only one speed — warp.

The Green Bay Packers’ defensive end has been a force since arriving via trade on Aug. 28.

You know, the player you see out there on the field on Sunday is the same player in practice where, you know, we’re trying to have to tell him to ease up sometimes and stay away from me at times, because he’s always hunting, trying to get those sacks and trying to win every rep.”

At DraftKings, Parsons is listed at +150 to win Defensive Player of the Year honors, while Cleveland’s Myles Garrett is second at +250. Detroit’s Aidan Hutchinson (+400), Denver’s Nik Bonitto (+750) and Houston’s Will Anderson Jr. (+1000) round out the top five.

Parsons is a larger favorite at FanDuel, where his odds are +145 and Garrett is second at +300). Hutchinson (+500), Bonitto (+750) and Anderson (+1000) round out the top five there, as well.

“I just think he’s been incredible since the day we’ve gotten him,” Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur said of Parsons. “It doesn’t take long. You sit down with him, he’s a really intelligent person, first and foremost, but then you go out there and watch how he practices. He gives great effort in practice and I think that’s why.

“He’s a freak of nature, anyway, but I think guys that do that, that are built like that, and then they have those habits that they form in practice. It’s not surprising to me that he can go out there and have a lot of success in the games.”

Crypto News: Donald Trump-Aligned Fed Governor To Speed Up Fed Rate Cuts?

The post Crypto News: Donald Trump-Aligned Fed Governor To Speed Up Fed Rate Cuts? appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In recent crypto news, Stephen Miran swore in as the latest Federal Reserve governor on September 16, 2025, slipping into the board’s last open spot right before the Federal Open Market Committee kicks off its two-day rate discussion. Traders are betting heavily on a 25-basis-point trim, which would bring the federal funds rate down to 4.00%-4.25%, based on CME FedWatch Tool figures from September 15, 2025. Miran, who’s been Trump’s top economic advisor and a supporter of his trade ideas, joins a seven-member board where just three governors come from Democratic picks, according to the Fed’s records updated that same day. Crypto News: Miran’s Background and Quick Path to Confirmation The Senate greenlit Miran on September 15, 2025, with a tight 48-47 vote, following his nomination on September 2, 2025, as per a recent crypto news update. His stint runs only until January 31, 2026, stepping in for Adriana D. Kugler, who stepped down in August 2025 for reasons not made public. Miran earned his economics Ph.D. from Harvard and worked at the Treasury back in Trump’s first go-around. Afterward, he moved to Hudson Bay Capital Management as an economist, then looped back to the White House in December 2024 to head the Council of Economic Advisers. There, he helped craft Trump’s “reciprocal tariffs” approach, aimed at fixing trade gaps with China and the EU. He wouldn’t quit his White House gig, which irked Senator Elizabeth Warren at the September 7, 2025, confirmation hearings. That limited time frame means Miran gets to cast a vote straight away at the FOMC session starting September 16, 2025. The full board now features Chair Jerome H. Powell (Trump pick, term ends 2026), Vice Chair Philip N. Jefferson (Biden, to 2036), and folks like Lisa D. Cook (Biden, to 2028) and Michael S. Barr…
